Some data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You may revoke consent you have already given at any time. Consent given via this website’s cookie banner can be changed or revoked yourself via the „Privacy settings“ item (see the „Consent management“ section); for all other consent, an informal email is sufficient. The lawfulness of data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

As a data subject, in the event of a data protection violation you are entitled to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The supervisory authority responsible for data protection matters is the Thüringer Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit (Thuringian State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information) (tlfdi.de). Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party. It is provided in a machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done to the extent technically feasible.

Right to information, rectification, restriction, erasure, objection

Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin, its recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, where applicable, a right to rectification, restriction of processing or erasure of this data. For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content that you send to us as the site operator, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. This means that data you transmit via this website cannot be read by third parties. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the „https://“ in your browser’s address bar and the padlock symbol in the browser line.

This website is operated at a hosting provider in Germany. In server log files, the provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically transmits:

• Date and time of the server request
• Browser type and browser version
• Operating system used
• Referrer URL
• Host name of the accessing computer
• IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR: we have a legitimate interest in the secure, trouble-free provision of the website. Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest.

We use the Cloudflare service provided by Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 7, 80331 Munich (parent company: Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Cloudflare is a globally distributed network through which the content of this website is delivered and attacks (e.g. automated access, overload attacks) are fended off. For this purpose, every visit to this website is routed via Cloudflare’s servers; Cloudflare processes your IP address and the request data in doing so and sets technically necessary cookies (e.g. __cf_bm, validity 30 minutes) to detect bot traffic.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and fast delivery of the website); the setting of the technically necessary cookies is based on § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG. Cloudflare may also process data in the USA; Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and Standard Contractual Clauses of the EU Commission also apply in addition. This website uses the consent management tool „Real Cookie Banner“ (devowl.io GmbH, Germany; the software runs entirely on our server, no data is transmitted to devowl.io). It serves to obtain, document and observe your consent to the setting of cookies and the processing of personal data by the services listed below.

When you visit the website, a technically necessary cookie (real_cookie_banner-*, validity up to 365 days) is set for this purpose, which stores your decision and a random identifier (UUID) so that you are not asked again on every visit. Your consent is stored together with the time, the services selected and the version of the banner texts; your IP address is not stored in the process.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 7 (1) GDPR (proof of consent) as well as § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG.

The banner is only shown to visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland; if your browser sends the „Do Not Track“ signal, only essential services are loaded without being asked.

Language setting (WPML). The website is available in 50 languages. A cookie (wp-wpml_current_language, validity 1 day) stores the language you have selected so that you remain in this language when switching between pages. Legal basis: § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. No data is transmitted to third parties.

Cache. For fast delivery, fully rendered pages are cached on our server and in the Cloudflare network. No personal data is stored in the process.

Data submitted via the contact form, including your contact details, is stored in order to process your enquiry or to be available for follow-up questions. This data is not passed on without your consent.

The data entered in the contact form is processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) or for carrying out pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). You may revoke consent you have already given at any time. An informal email is sufficient to revoke consent. The lawfulness of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Data transmitted via the contact form remains with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory statutory provisions, in particular retention periods, remain unaffected.

For orders, shipping and complaints, the privacy policy of the shop at ittermann.de applies.

The following services are only loaded once you select „Accept all“ in the cookie banner or select them individually. Without your consent, no data is transmitted to these providers. The legal basis is in each case your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG; consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future (see „Consent management“).

We use Google Tag Manager provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Tag Manager is a tool with which we integrate and control the Google services listed below (Analytics, Ads conversion measurement). Tag Manager itself does not create any user profiles and does not store cookies; however, when it loads, your IP address is transmitted to Google. It is only loaded after your consent.

We use Google Analytics 4 provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics generates statistics on the use of this website (pages visited, time spent, origin, device, language) so that we can see which content is being read. For this purpose, cookies (_ga, _ga_*, validity up to 2 years) are set and your IP address is transmitted to Google; Google only processes IP addresses from the EU in shortened form and does not store them. The data may also be processed on servers of Google LLC in the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and Standard Contractual Clauses also apply in addition. We have concluded a data processing agreement (order processing) with Google.

Google Analytics is only loaded after your consent. In addition, we use the „Google Consent Mode“: Google receives the signal as to whether you have consented and, without consent, does not set cookies and does not process any user data.

We place ads via Google Ads operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and use conversion tracking. If you reached this website via a Google ad and have given your consent, Google sets a cookie (validity 90 days) with which Google and we can recognise that you clicked on the ad and visited a specific page (e.g. the shop link). We only receive statistics, no information with which we could identify you personally. The data may also be processed in the USA (EU-US Data Privacy Framework, Standard Contractual Clauses).

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics provided by Ahrefs Pte. Ltd., 16 Raffles Quay, #33-03 Hong Leong Building, Singapore 048581 (EU representative: VeraSafe Ireland Ltd., Unit 3D North Point House, North Point Business Park, New Mallow Road, Cork T23AT2P, Ireland). The service counts page views and records referral source, language, device type, browser as well as country and city of origin. It does not set any cookies. Your IP address is transmitted to Ahrefs and is processed there only in encrypted form combined with a randomly changing daily value (hash), so that you cannot be recognised beyond that day; raw data is not stored.

The data is processed in Singapore and in the USA, i.e. in countries without an adequacy decision by the EU Commission. Your consent therefore expressly also covers this transfer (Art. 49 (1) (a) GDPR); there is a risk that authorities in these countries may be able to access the data and that you do not have equivalent data subject rights there.
