Ralf Ittermann is the founder and Managing Director of Ittermann electronic GmbH in Ruhla (Thuringia). The idea for the iWell Guard protective pendant grew out of more than three decades of experience in electronic precision manufacturing, combining material selection, geometric precision, and many years of practice in the field of mediumistic perception.
Ralf Ittermann is responsible for the editorial direction of the iWell Guard encyclopedia, reviews the individual beings entries for accuracy of content, and sets the source-critical standards.
The individual entries are produced with the help of a circle of experts in religion and mythology, mediumistic practitioners, and proofreaders, whose contributions are reviewed internally by subject specialists.
The content of the iWell Guard encyclopedia follows a transparent source hierarchy: standard works of religious studies and history, secondary literature, mediumistic observations.
For every statement in a beings entry it should be clear which level of source it rests on. An overview of the central works in religious studies can be found in the bibliography.
The iWell Guard encyclopedia is continuously revised. Existing entries are reviewed in regular passes for factual accuracy, for currency with the research literature, and for linguistic care.
If a statement is superseded by newer sources or an imprecision becomes apparent, the entry in question is corrected and the date of change is kept visible. Feedback from readers is incorporated into this maintenance. The aim is a reference work that is not created once but maintained over the long term.
Before founding Ittermann electronic GmbH, Ralf Ittermann completed technical training in precision mechanics and electrical engineering and worked at several stations in electronic contract manufacturing. This practice still shapes his methodical approach to material selection, tolerance assessment, and near-series production steps today.
The interplay of materials science, geometry, and vibration behavior was tested across several product generations before it found its way into the iWell Guard protective pendant.
In editorial work, a clear principle of separation takes priority: findings from religious studies, ethnological sources, and mediumistic perceptions are marked so that they can be told apart.
Where a statement about a being can be assigned to a single tradition, it is placed in its cultural context; where it rests on mediumistic experience, this is stated openly. This methodological standard reduces conflation and makes the reasoning easy for readers to follow.
For selected cultural areas, the editorial team works together with external specialists: scholars of religious studies for Mesopotamian and Egyptian entries, indologists for Vedic and tantric topics, tibetologists for the entries on Mahakala, Palden Lhamo, and the Tibetan protective deities.
Difficult or contested passages are reviewed before publication. For mediumistic observations, experienced practitioners are involved, and their perspective is made transparent in the respective entry.
Texts on iwell-guard.com are kept in a calm, factual tone. Superlatives, promises of healing, and unsupported generalizations are avoided. Loanwords are used only where there is no established equivalent. Source references follow a uniform scheme; image material is identified, where possible, with picture credits or as an illustration created in-house.
