Poljski: <em>Wodnik<\/em>. \u010ce\u0161ki\/Slova\u010dki: <em>Vodn\u00edk<\/em>.<br>Etimologija: prozirno izvedeno iz praslovenskog <em>voda<\/em>, bukvalno \u201eonaj koji pripada vodi&#8220;.<\/p><p><span data-nosnippet>\u010ce\u0161ki Vodn\u00edk je u knji\u017eevnosti dobio sopstveni pe\u010dat: K. J. Erben mu u zbirci balada <em>Kytice<\/em> (1853) posve\u0107uje pesmu \u201eVodn\u00edk&#8220;, a Dvo\u0159\u00e1k je 1896. komponuje kao simfonijsku pesan.
