kri\u017eem in blagoslovljeno vodo. Kdor sre\u010da procesijo, mu grozi prekletstvo, da postane njen naslednji vodja.<\/p><p>Verovanje je globoko zakoreninjeno v Galiciji in Asturiji ter sega do severne Portugalske in \u0161panske pokrajine El Bierzo. Etnografsko je bilo dokumentirano predvsem v 20. stoletju, dobro pa ga je zabele\u017eil Vicente Risco in galicijsko ljudsko Pogosto je sploh ne vidijo, temve\u010d jo zaznajo le po vonju voska, oddaljenih lu\u010deh in tihem zvonjenju. Njena simbolika je nekje med katoli\u0161ko procesijo in poganskim sprevodom mrtvih ter predstavlja pokristjanjeno obliko starej\u0161ega verovanja v mrtve.<\/p><p><strong>U\u010dinek<\/strong><\/p><p>No\u010dni sprevod, ki se za\u010dne opolno\u010di, je napoved smrti. Kdor je nagovorjen ali iz rok vodje prevzame kri\u017e ali sve\u010do, stopi na njegovo mesto in lahko sam pade v roke
