Helena Petrovna <strong>Blavatsky<\/strong> ga ozna\u010di kot enega od \u201emojstrov modrosti\u201c <strong>Teozofskega dru\u0161tva<\/strong> s sede\u017eem v himalajski <strong>Bratov\u0161\u010dini Shigatse<\/strong> (Tibet).<\/p><p>Charles Webster Leadbeater v delu <em>The Masters and the Path<\/em> (1925) to identifikacijo raz\u0161iri na zgodovinskega ka\u0161mirskega panditi, ka\u0161mirskega Brahmana.<\/p><p>V kasnej\u0161em <strong>naukih o vzhajajo\u010dih mojstrih<\/strong> gibanja I-AM (Guy in Edna Ballard, 1930. leta) in gibanja Summit Lighthouse (Mark in Elizabeth Clare Prophet, 1970. leta) postane Kuthumi hierarhijski u\u010ditelj drugega \u017earka (\u017earka modrosti). Helena Petrovna Blavatsky in Annie Besant sta trdili, da sta s Kuthumijem v telepatski korespondenci, v tako imenovanih Mahatmovih pismih.<\/p><p>V spisih Helene Roerich je Kuthumi opisan kot mojster modrosti, katerega iz\u017earevanje deluje predvsem na povezovanje Vzhoda in Zahoda. Tradicija Kuthumija v\u010dasih ena\u010di z zgodovinskim Budo ali podobno visokim bitjem, kar je znanstveno spor trditev, ki pa v ezoteri\u010dnem razumevanju ostaja pomembna.<\/p><h3>Viri<\/h3><p>Primarni viri so Mahatmova pisma (izdana 1923) ter dnevniki in pisma Helene Roerich. Poleg tega obstajajo teozofski komentarji in sekundarna literatura. Vzhodne tradicije imajo podobne koncepte mojstrov, vendar Kuthumija ne imenujejo poimensko. Sodobna ezoteri\u010dna dela so Kuthumija populariziralo kot mojstra ljubezni in povezovanja modrosti. Zgodovinska preverljivost mahatm je majhna, njihova ezoteri\u010dna in simbolna te\u017ea pa ostaja pomembna.<\/p><div><h3>Kuthumi v teozofski tradiciji<\/h3><p>Kuthumi (tudi <em>Koot Hoomi<\/em> ali <em>Kuthumi Lal Singh<\/em>) je osrednja figura teozofskega nauka o vzhajajo\u010dih mojstrih.<\/p><p>Prvi\u010d se pojavi v tako imenovanih <em>Mahatma Letters<\/em>, korespondenci med Kuthumijem (prek medija Helene Petrovne Blavatsky) in britansko-indijskim teozofom Alfredom Percyjem Sinnettom med letoma 1880 in 1885. Pisma je leta 1923 izdal Trevor Barker pod naslovom <em>The Mahatma Letters to A. P. Sinnett<\/em> in so glavni vir Kuthumijevega teozofskega nauka.<\/p><p>Z religiologijskega vidika jih akademsko raziskovanje teozofije (Joscelyn Godwin, K. V\u010dasih nosi knjigo ali plo\u0161\u010do, knjigo modrosti.<\/p><p>Njegove o\u010di so opisane kot globoke, so\u010dutne in vseveden. Energetsko Kuthumi deluje topel, moder in ljube\u010d hkrati, kot son\u010dna svetloba, ki tudi greje.
