T\u00e1to toto\u017enos\u0165 medzi menom boha a kozmickou kateg\u00f3riou je typick\u00e1 pre staroorient\u00e1lnu teog\u00f3niu.<\/p><p>V akkad\u010dine je zodpovedaj\u00facim v\u00fdrazom <em>m\u016btu<\/em> (smr\u0165), v hebrej\u010dine <em>m\u0101wet<\/em> (s identickou etymol\u00f3giou, tie\u017e prim\u00e1rne nie je personifikovan\u00e9 ako bo\u017estvo, ale v niektor\u00fdch poetick\u00fdch textoch ako J\u00f3b 18,13; Oze\u00e1\u0161 13,14; Habakuk 2,5 je dosved\u010den\u00e9 ako kv\u00e1zi-mytologick\u00e1 postava).<\/p><p>V ugaritsk\u00fdch textoch sa Mot objavuje pod viacer\u00fdmi pr\u00edvlastkami: bn \u02beilm mt &#8218;syn bohov, Mot&#8216;, ydd \u02beil \u0121zr &#8218;mil\u00e1\u010dik Ela, hrdina&#8216;, mdd \u02beil &#8218;ob\u013e\u00fabenec Ela&#8216;. Tieto pr\u00edvlastky ho ozna\u010duj\u00fa ako syna otcovsk\u00e9ho boha Ela a zd\u00f4raz\u0148uj\u00fa jeho teologick\u00fa d\u00f4stojnos\u0165. Mot nie je zl\u00fdm protibohom. Je legit\u00edmnym synom najvy\u0161\u0161ieho boha s kozmicky nevyhnutnou funkciou.<\/p><p>V hebrejskom materi\u00e1li sa Mot objavuje polemicky obmedzen\u00fd; monoteistick\u00e1 <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Vedeck\u00e1 n\u00e1uka o bohu a viere n\u00e1bo\u017eenstva.\" tabindex=\"0\">teol\u00f3gia<\/span> nem\u00f4\u017ee akceptova\u0165 samostatn\u00e9ho boha smrti popri Jahvem.
