T\u00e1to ikonick\u00e1 obrazov\u00e1 formula je jedn\u00fdm z najv\u00fdznamnej\u0161\u00edch ochrann\u00fdch zobrazen\u00ed starovek\u00e9ho Bl\u00edzkeho v\u00fdchodu.<\/p><p>Trevor Bryce v diele <em>The Kingdom of the Hittites<\/em> (2005) upozornil na politicko-n\u00e1bo\u017eensk\u00fd v\u00fdznam tohto osobn\u00e9ho vz\u0165ahu k bo\u017estvu: Sarruma symbolizuje huritiz\u00e1ciu hetitskej kr\u00e1\u013eovskej teol\u00f3gie v 13. storo\u010d\u00ed pred Kr. Kr\u00e1\u013eovn\u00e1 Puduchepa a jej syn Tudchaliju IV. pov\u00fd\u0161ili hurritizmus na \u0161t\u00e1tne n\u00e1bo\u017eenstvo v miere, ktor\u00e1 bola v hetitskej r\u00ed\u0161i bezprecedentn\u00e1.<\/p><p>Zvl\u00e1\u0161tnou vlastnos\u0165ou Sarrumu je jeho dvojit\u00e1 funkcia horsk\u00e9ho <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Bytos\u0165 uctievan\u00e1 ako bo\u017esk\u00e1 v r\u00e1mci n\u00e1bo\u017eenstva.\" tabindex=\"0\">bo\u017estva<\/span> a osobn\u00e9ho ochrann\u00e9ho boha kr\u00e1\u013ea. V akkad\u010dine ho nie je jednoducho stoto\u017eni\u0165; jeho hurritsk\u00fd charakter zost\u00e1va jasne rozpoznate\u013en\u00fd.<\/p><p>Druh\u00e1 etymol\u00f3gia sp\u00e1ja meno s n\u00e1zvom vrchu &#8218;\u0160arruma&#8216; v Kizzuwatne; Sarruma by tak bol p\u00f4vodne horsk\u00fdm bo\u017estvom a a\u017e n\u00e1sledne ochrann\u00fdm bohom kr\u00e1\u013eov.<\/p><p>Obe etymol\u00f3gie s\u00fa pravdepodobne zlu\u010dite\u013en\u00e9: horsk\u00fd boh na vrchu \u0160arruma, ktor\u00e9ho meno nesk\u00f4r odkazuje na &#8218;kr\u00e1\u013ea&#8216;.
