Praktiky s\u00fa si form\u00e1lne \u010dasto podobn\u00e9 (<span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Regulovan\u00e1 sekvencia symbolick\u00fdch \u00fakonov s n\u00e1bo\u017eensk\u00fdm alebo kult\u00farnym v\u00fdznamom.\" tabindex=\"0\">ritu\u00e1l<\/span>, predmet, formula), ale odli\u0161uje ich cie\u013e: ujma namiesto lie\u010denia alebo v\u00e4zby.<\/p><p>D\u00f4le\u017eit\u00fd rozdiel: \u0161kodliv\u00e1 magia je v mnoh\u00fdch kult\u00farach explicitne tabuizovan\u00e1 a odsudzovan\u00e1, nie utajen\u00e1, ale ideologicky uznan\u00e1 ako nebezpe\u010dn\u00e1 a ne\u010dist\u00e1. Archeologicky bolo n\u00e1jden\u00fdch tis\u00edce tak\u00fdchto predmetov, najm\u00e4 z At\u00e9n, R\u00edma a Egypta.<\/p><p>Klasick\u00e1 defixio mohla znie\u0165: \u201eZv\u00e4zujem \u00fasta svojho s\u00fadneho protivn\u00edka a jeho srdce proti m\u00f4jmu nepriate\u013eovi.&#8220; \u010casto sa zakop\u00e1vali do hrobov alebo na posv\u00e4tn\u00e9 miesta, adresovan\u00e9 podsvetiu.<\/p><p>Eur\u00f3pske \u010darodejn\u00edctvo (od stredoveku po ran\u00fd novovek) zah\u0155\u0148a \u0161kodliv\u00fa magiu ako \u00fastredn\u00fd element: poh\u013eady, ktor\u00e9 zra\u0148uj\u00fa, l\u00e1tky, ktor\u00e9 zab\u00edjaj\u00fa dobytok, voskov\u00e9 alebo hlinen\u00e9 fig\u00farky prepichovan\u00e9 ihlami. \u010carodejn\u00edcke procesy zdokumentovali tis\u00edce tak\u00fdchto prakt\u00edk, \u010di boli skuto\u010dne vykon\u00e1van\u00e9 alebo \u0161lo len o predstavy, zost\u00e1va sporn\u00e9.<\/p><p>Africk\u00e9 praktiky (etnograficky dobre zdokumentovan\u00e9 v Ju\u017enej Afrike, z\u00e1padnej Afrike): \u010darodejn\u00edci m\u00f4\u017eu prenies\u0165 chorobu prostredn\u00edctvom predmetov (zakopan\u00e9 zvieracie kosti, \u013eudsk\u00e9 vlasy) alebo zakl\u00ednania. Tak\u00e9to praktiky s\u00fa kult\u00farne re\u00e1lne a v tradi\u010dn\u00fdch kontextoch in\u0161titucionalizovan\u00e9 (sankcionovanie zo strany dediny, predkov).<\/p><p>Islamsk\u00e9 praktiky: <em>Sihr<\/em> (\u010darodejn\u00edctvo) sa spom\u00edna v Kor\u00e1ne a podrobne sa rozober\u00e1 v had\u00edsoch a neskor\u0161\u00edch islamsk\u00fdch textoch. Zah\u0155\u0148a \u0161kodliv\u00fa magiu a je koncipovan\u00e1 ako duchovn\u00e1 ujma, nie psychologick\u00e1, ale p\u00f4sobenie nevidite\u013en\u00fdch s\u00edl.<\/p><div><h3>Mezopot\u00e1mske a egyptsk\u00e9 korene: Maql\u00fa a defixiones<\/h3><p>\u0160kodliv\u00e1 magia nie je novodob\u00fdm javom, je zdokumentovan\u00e1 u\u017e v akkadsk\u00fdch tabu\u013ek\u00e1ch <em>Maql\u00fa<\/em> (1. tis\u00edcro\u010die pred n. l.), zbierke zakl\u00ednan\u00ed proti \u010darodejn\u00edctvu. Tabu\u013eky obsahuj\u00fa formuly na zapovedanie \u010darodejn\u00edc a znefunk\u010dnenie ich <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Praktiky, ktor\u00e9 chc\u00fa zvl\u00e1\u0161tnymi \u00fakonmi alebo formulami zasiahnu\u0165 do priebehu vec\u00ed.\" tabindex=\"0\">magie<\/span> pomocou protiritu\u00e1lov a oh\u0148a.
