S\u00fa to duchovia vody a zeme, ochrancovia prame\u0148ov, jazier, riek, mokrad\u00ed a ur\u010dit\u00fdch p\u00f4d.<\/p><p>V svojej ambivalencii stoja medzi nebezpe\u010denstvom a <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Pris\u013e\u00fabenie zdravia a ochrany, \u010dasto vo pevnej jazykovej forme.\" tabindex=\"0\">po\u017eehnan\u00edm<\/span>: kto Lu re\u0161pektuje, z\u00edskava blahobyt, zdravie a plodnos\u0165; kto nar\u00fa\u0161a ich priestory zne\u010disten\u00edm, neopatrn\u00fdm kopan\u00edm alebo v\u00fdrubom sv\u00e4t\u00fdch stromov, privol\u00e1va na seba choroby a ne\u0161\u0165astie.<\/p><p>Lu s\u00fa ikonograficky a n\u00e1bo\u017eensko-historicky \u00fazko pr\u00edbuzn\u00ed s indick\u00fdmi <em>n\u0101ga<\/em>. Pri buddhistickom podroben\u00ed Padmasambhavou sa mnoh\u00ed Lu zmenili na dharmap\u00e1lov (ochrann\u00fdch duchov); in\u00ed zostali akt\u00edvni ako lok\u00e1lne, niekedy nebezpe\u010dn\u00e9 sily.<\/p><div><h3>Adapt\u00e1cia z indickej trad\u00edcie naga<\/h3><p><em>Lu<\/em> Tibetu s\u00fa priamo odvoden\u00ed z indickej trad\u00edcie naga, ale boli lokalizovan\u00ed v \u0161pecifickom kontexte. Zatia\u013e \u010do indick\u00fd naga je had\u00ed kr\u00e1\u013e s magick\u00fdmi silami, \u017eij\u00faci v podzemn\u00fdch chr\u00e1moch, tibetsk\u00fd Lu je sk\u00f4r vodn\u00e9 <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Bytos\u0165 uctievan\u00e1 ako bo\u017esk\u00e1 v r\u00e1mci n\u00e1bo\u017eenstva.\" tabindex=\"0\">bo\u017estvo<\/span> alebo vodn\u00fd kr\u00e1\u013e s plynulej\u0161ou povahou.<\/p><p>T\u00e1to premena ukazuje, ako sa n\u00e1bo\u017eensk\u00e9 koncepty pretv\u00e1raj\u00fa vplyvom kl\u00edmy a geografie: indick\u00fd naga, poch\u00e1dzaj\u00faci z tropickej, na d\u00e1\u017e\u010f bohatej kult\u00fary, sa st\u00e1va Lu, ktor\u00fd existuje v \u013eadov\u00fdch vysokohorsk\u00fdch riekach Tibetu.<\/p><p>Zachovan\u00e9 vlastnosti s\u00fa ob\u00fdvanie vody, kontrola bohatstva a sklon k hnevu pri naru\u0161en\u00ed. Choroba sa potom vykladala ako ich odpove\u010f.<\/p><p>Ak \u010dlovek ochorel a sympt\u00f3my, najm\u00e4 ko\u017en\u00e9 ochorenia, boli vylo\u017een\u00e9 ako trest <em>klu<\/em>, uplatnil sa vlastn\u00fd reperto\u00e1r uzmierovac\u00edch ritu\u00e1lov.<\/p><p>Patrili k nim \u010distiace obrady a obetovanie mimoriadne \u010dist\u00fdch, \u010dasto bielych alebo mlie\u010dnych obetn\u00fdch darov, ako aj stavanie alebo obnova mal\u00fdch sv\u00e4t\u00fd\u0148, <em>lu khang<\/em> alebo <em>lu bum<\/em>, v ktor\u00fdch sa <em>klu<\/em> uctievali.<\/p><p><em>Klu bum<\/em>, n\u00e1doba s \u010dist\u00fdmi substanciami, mohla sl\u00fa\u017ei\u0165 ako trval\u00e9 obydlie a miesto obetovania.
