Predkres\u0165ansk\u00ed Slovania nepoznali p\u00edsmo; to, \u010do vieme o ich bohoch, poch\u00e1dza z byzantsk\u00fdch a arabsk\u00fdch cestopisov, z kres\u0165ansk\u00fdch k\u00e1zn\u00ed proti modloslu\u017ebe a z etnografick\u00fdch zbierok 18. a 19. storo\u010dia.<\/p><p>Bohov Peruna, Velesa a Moko\u0161 je mo\u017en\u00e9 rekon\u0161truova\u0165 len v hrub\u00fdch rysoch.<\/p>\n<p>Skuto\u010dn\u00e9 bohatstvo sa skr\u00fdva v \u013eudovom n\u00e1bo\u017eenstve: dom\u00e1ci duchovia (domovoj, domovik), duchovia krajiny (lesij v lese, vodjanoj vo vode), d\u00e9moni chor\u00f4b (kikimora, mara) a bytosti spojen\u00e9 so smr\u0165ou a predkami.<\/p><p>T\u00e1to vrstva pre\u017eila christianiz\u00e1ciu a splynula s uctievan\u00edm sv\u00e4t\u00fdch: sv\u00e4t\u00fd Eli\u00e1\u0161 zaujal miesto Peruna, Matka Bo\u017eia prevzala funkcie Moko\u0161.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Akademick\u00e9 spracovanie<\/strong> (Gieysztor, Ma\u0144czak, Jakobson) vyu\u017e\u00edvalo metodicky najm\u00e4 porovnanie s baltskou a indoeur\u00f3pskou <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"S\u00fahrn tradovan\u00fdch rozpr\u00e1van\u00ed o bohoch v danej kult\u00fare.\" tabindex=\"0\">mytol\u00f3giou<\/span>. P\u00f4vodn\u00fd <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"S\u00fahrn bohov ur\u010dit\u00e9ho n\u00e1bo\u017eenstva alebo kult\u00fary.\" tabindex=\"0\">pante\u00f3n<\/span> zah\u0155\u0148al bo\u017estv\u00e1 ako Perun (hrom, vojna), Veles (podsvetie, blahobyt), Moko\u0161 (zem, plodnos\u0165) a Stribog (vietor).<\/p><p>Christianiz\u00e1cia od 9. do 12. storo\u010dia bola intenz\u00edvna a trad\u00edciu potla\u010dila; vo <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Tradovan\u00e1 \u013eudov\u00e1 kult\u00fara so zvykmi, rozpr\u00e1vaniami a pies\u0148ami.\" tabindex=\"0\">folkl\u00f3re<\/span> v\u0161ak pre\u017eila v podobe dom\u00e1cich duchov, lesn\u00fdch d\u00e9monov a vodn\u00fdch bytost\u00ed. Syst\u00e9m bol p\u00edsomne dokumentovan\u00fd menej ne\u017e v z\u00e1padoeur\u00f3pskych n\u00e1bo\u017eenstv\u00e1ch, a pramene vzniknut\u00e9 po christianiz\u00e1cii s\u00fa ideologicky skreslen\u00e9.<\/p><p>Region\u00e1lna rozmanitos\u0165 bola ve\u013ek\u00e1 (V\u00fdchodn\u00ed, Z\u00e1padn\u00ed a Juhoslovania), a modern\u00e9 rekon\u0161trukcie zost\u00e1vaj\u00fa spekulat\u00edvne.
