href=\"\/pt-br\/umai\/\">Umai<\/a> ou <a href=\"\/pt-br\/uelgen\/\">\u00dclgen<\/a>, Yer-Sub n\u00e3o \u00e9 um indiv\u00edduo, mas um poder coletivo e ligado ao lugar.<\/p><p>Nas inscri\u00e7\u00f5es de Orchon do s\u00e9culo VIII (K\u00fcl-Tigin, Bilge Kagan, Tonyukuk), Yer-Sub surge regularmente numa f\u00f3rmula tripla: &#8220;Tengri (C\u00e9u), Umai (M\u00e3e) e Yer-Sub (Terra-\u00c1gua) deram-nos a vit\u00f3ria.&#8221; Esta f\u00f3rmula \u00e9 um dos testemunhos mais importantes da estrutura cosmol\u00f3gica do tengrismo turco antigo.<\/p><p>No \u00e2mbito da <a href=\"\/pt-br\/xamanismo-siberiano\/\">tradi\u00e7\u00e3o sib\u00e9rio-tengrista<\/a>, figuras especializadas mais recentes, senhores das montanhas, esp\u00edritos das fontes, esp\u00edritos dos rios, assumem as fun\u00e7\u00f5es concretas que originalmente eram atribu\u00eddas coletivamente a Yer-Sub. Assim, Yer-Sub se condensa na hist\u00f3ria religiosa posterior numa multiplicidade de esp\u00edritos individuais nomeados, sem desaparecer enquanto conceito.<\/p><p>Do ponto de vista da fenomenologia da religi\u00e3o, Yer-Sub \u00e9 um caso exemplar de &#8220;numinosidade local&#8221;: ao contr\u00e1rio das divindades supremas universais, este poder est\u00e1 ligado ao espa\u00e7o e se concentra em lugares concretos, desfiladeiros de montanha, fontes, fozes de rios, penhascos. Insere-se assim na mesma linha dos romanos <em>genii loci<\/em> e dos japoneses <em>jinushigami<\/em>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-iwgw-yersub-s1 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"iwgw-yersub-s1\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-iwgw-yersub-s1h elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"iwgw-yersub-s1h\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Nome e etimologia<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-iwgw-yersub-s1c e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"iwgw-yersub-s1c\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-iwgw-yersub-s1t elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"iwgw-yersub-s1t\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>O nome \u00e9 um composto dvandva cl\u00e1ssico do turco antigo: <em>yer<\/em> (&#8220;terra, pa\u00eds, lugar&#8221;) e <em>sub<\/em> (&#8220;\u00e1gua, fonte, rio&#8221;). Forma\u00e7\u00f5es compar\u00e1veis est\u00e3o atestadas em muitas l\u00ednguas indo-europeias e altaicas; exprimem que a terra e a \u00e1gua n\u00e3o s\u00e3o aqui concebidas como duas coisas distintas, mas como um par indissoci\u00e1vel de fundamentos da vida.<\/p><p>No mundo mongol, o conceito corresponde parcialmente a <em>gazar usu<\/em> (&#8220;terra-\u00e1gua&#8221;) ou a <em>Et\u00fcgen Eke<\/em> (&#8220;M\u00e3e Terra&#8221;). Na pr\u00f3pria Sib\u00e9ria, os Buriatas conhecem os <em>Lus<\/em> (esp\u00edritos das fontes) e os Iacutos o servo terrestre de <em>Aar Tojon<\/em>, <em>Aan Alakhchyn<\/em>.<\/p><p>Talat Tekin (1968) esclareceu o status gramatical de <em>yer sub<\/em> como composto: n\u00e3o se trata de dois deuses mencionados em sequ\u00eancia, mas de um \u00fanico poder com nome bin\u00e1rio. Quando os esp\u00edritos especializados ligados ao lugar s\u00e3o representados visualmente, tal acontece por meio de montes de pedras (<em>obo<\/em>), estacas de madeira inscritas (<em>serge<\/em>), fitas de tecido atadas em laricieiras (<em>kyira<\/em>) e pequenas figuras de madeira na margem de fontes. Yer-Sub como um todo permanece invis\u00edvel; a pr\u00f3pria mat\u00e9ria \u00e9 o seu corpo.<\/p><p>Essa aus\u00eancia de imagem \u00e9 compartilhada por Yer-Sub com o distante <a href=\"\/pt-br\/tengri\/\">Tengri<\/a>, ao contr\u00e1rio dos poderes pessoal-antropom\u00f3rficos <a href=\"\/pt-br\/uelgen\/\">\u00dclgen<\/a>, <a href=\"\/pt-br\/umai\/\">Umai<\/a> ou <a href=\"\/pt-br\/erlik-khan\/\">Erlik Khan<\/a>. O Naadam, celebrado anualmente em julho, tem origem nas invoca\u00e7\u00f5es das divindades das montanhas e das fontes, estando assim historicamente ligado ao complexo de Yer-Sub.<\/p><p>Os tr\u00eas cl\u00e1ssicos &#8220;jogos viris&#8221; do Naadam, corridas de cavalos, tiro com arco, luta, s\u00e3o originalmente demonstra\u00e7\u00f5es rituais da for\u00e7a tribal perante o patrono da montanha e perante Yer-Sub. Christopher Atwood descreveu detalhadamente essa ancoragem ritual na sua Encyclopedia (2004).<\/p><p>Na Mong\u00f3lia atual, o Naadam \u00e9 uma grande festa nacional que se reveste simultaneamente de uma carga estatal-secular e religioso-tradicional. Nas estepes do sul da Sib\u00e9ria (Tuva, Altai), conservam-se montes <em>kurgan<\/em> e pilares de pedra erguidos do per\u00edodo cita e huno, que s\u00e3o interpretados como marca\u00e7\u00e3o ritual de &#8220;lugares sagrados&#8221;. Se essas marca\u00e7\u00f5es s\u00e3o id\u00eanticas ao conceito posterior de Yer-Sub n\u00e3o est\u00e1 definitivamente estabelecido.<\/p><p>Um material arqueol\u00f3gico particularmente importante s\u00e3o os pilares de pedra <em>balbal<\/em> do per\u00edodo dos K\u00f6kt\u00fcrcos, dispostos em filas junto a t\u00famulos reais. Nas inscri\u00e7\u00f5es de Orchon, <em>yer sub<\/em> surge em conjunto com <em>Tengri<\/em> como poderes que interv\u00eam quando o povo se encontra em dificuldades.<\/p><p>A posi\u00e7\u00e3o teol\u00f3gica exata permanece, todavia, em aberto: se <em>Yer-Sub<\/em> foi concebido como uma unidade, como uma pluralidade de esp\u00edritos locais ou como ambos ao mesmo tempo n\u00e3o pode ser determinado de forma inequ\u00edvoca a partir dos breves textos das inscri\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p><p>Nas tradi\u00e7\u00f5es etnograficamente documentadas dos povos turcos do sul da Sib\u00e9ria, por exemplo os Altaicos e os Khakas, <em>Yer-Sub<\/em> surge frequentemente no plural como uma multiplicidade de senhores de montanhas, rios e desfiladeiros espec\u00edficos, aos quais os viajantes ofereciam pequenas d\u00e1divas.<\/p><p>Aqui se manifesta a mesma oscila\u00e7\u00e3o entre unidade e pluralidade presente em muitos conceitos tengristas. A investiga\u00e7\u00e3o, nomeadamente sobre a religi\u00e3o altaica, interpreta isso como express\u00e3o de uma religiosidade que n\u00e3o separa rigidamente o local do abrangente.
