da economia e da identidade iacutas. Outras figuras elevadas da primeira camada s\u00e3o <a href=\"\/pt-br\/ajisit\/\">Ajisit<\/a>, <em>\u00dcr\u00fcn Aar Tojon<\/em> e o dador de gado <em>Ynakhsyt<\/em>.<\/p><p>No \u00e2mbito da <a href=\"\/pt-br\/xamanismo-siberiano\/\">tradi\u00e7\u00e3o siberiana-tengrista<\/a>, Yhych-Khan constitui um exemplo elucidativo de como a fun\u00e7\u00e3o do deus supremo c\u00f3smico se subdivide em especializa\u00e7\u00f5es ligadas aos animais. Esta especializa\u00e7\u00e3o segue a l\u00f3gica econ\u00f4mica da cria\u00e7\u00e3o de cavalos iacuta em condi\u00e7\u00f5es sub\u00e1rticas extremamente frias.<\/p><p>A ra\u00e7a iacuta de cavalos Sacha (<em>tabuun<\/em>) \u00e9 uma adapta\u00e7\u00e3o extraordin\u00e1ria ao frio, sobrevivendo a temperaturas abaixo dos sessenta graus negativos, sendo a espinha dorsal da tradi\u00e7\u00e3o tanto do ponto de vista religioso como econ\u00f4mico. A etimologia ancora-o diretamente no complexo festivo iacuta Ysyakh, cuja a\u00e7\u00e3o central \u00e9 beber e oferecer <em>kumys<\/em>.<\/p><p>Nos textos etnogr\u00e1ficos mais antigos encontra-se tamb\u00e9m a variante <em>Yhyaqtaaq<\/em>, &#8220;o que det\u00e9m o direito festivo do kumys&#8221;, o que liga o nome \u00e0 festa Ysyakh. O seu manto est\u00e1 bordado com s\u00edmbolos equinos; nos postes rituais (<em>serge<\/em>) do Ysyakh, ele \u00e9 representado de forma estilizada como um cavaleiro com uma ta\u00e7a erguida.<\/p><p>Os postes <em>serge<\/em> s\u00e3o um dos materiais mais importantes da antropologia religiosa da cultura iacuta. Sem cavalos, diz a narrativa, a vida na tundra iacuta seria imposs\u00edvel; Yhych-Khan preenche esta lacuna.<\/p><p>Uma segunda narrativa descreve como, ap\u00f3s uma fome, ele torna as \u00e9guas t\u00e3o f\u00e9rteis em leite que os homens conseguem produzir kumys pela primeira vez, sendo ent\u00e3o institu\u00eddo o Ysyakh como festa anual de agradecimento.<\/p><p>Uma terceira narrativa relata o conflito de Yhych-Khan com um ser mal\u00e9fico <em>abasy<\/em> do mundo inferior que pretende amaldi\u00e7oar as manadas de cavalos; Yhych-Khan expulsa-o com uma concha cheia de leite que se transforma numa ponta de lan\u00e7a.
