figura particularmente bem documentada da religi\u00e3o mongol tardia.<\/p><p>Constitui um pilar de liga\u00e7\u00e3o entre tr\u00eas camadas: o Ahura Mazda indo-iraniano (pahlavi <em>Hormizd<\/em>), o Indra budista (s\u00e2nscrito <em>\u015aakra Dev\u0101n\u0101\u1e43 Indra<\/em>) e o <a href=\"\/pt-br\/tengri\/\">Tengri<\/a> turco-mongol antigo. Na literatura narrativa da Hist\u00f3ria Secreta e nos textos \u00e9picos posteriores (epopeia de Geser Khan) surge como \u201cPai dos 33 Deuses do Ocidente\u201d e \u00e1rbitro dos conflitos celestiais.<\/p><p>No \u00e2mbito da <a href=\"\/pt-br\/xamanismo-siberiano\/\">tradi\u00e7\u00e3o sibero-tengr\u00edsta<\/a> marca a transi\u00e7\u00e3o do Tengri informe para o pante\u00e3o budista personalizado. Do ponto de vista da hist\u00f3ria das religi\u00f5es, constitui um exemplo did\u00e1tico do funcionamento do <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Fus\u00e3o de conceitos ou divindades provenientes de diferentes tradi\u00e7\u00f5es religiosas.\" tabindex=\"0\">sincretismo<\/span>.<\/p><p><span data-nosnippet>A literatura de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o sobre Khormusta \u00e9, em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com muitas outras figuras Tengri, invulgarmente densa. <em>Die Religionen der Mongolei<\/em> (1970), de Walther Heissig, \u00e9 aqui t\u00e3o indispens\u00e1vel quanto as obras de Klaus Sagaster e Christopher Atwood. A transfer\u00eancia ocorreu provavelmente entre os s\u00e9culos VII e IX, atrav\u00e9s das rotas comerciais sogdianas para a \u00c1sia Interior.<\/p><p>No espa\u00e7o lingu\u00edstico mongol, o nome recebe o sufixo Tengri (<em>Qormusta Tngri<\/em>), integrando assim o deus supremo iraniano no sistema celestial mongol, um exemplo cl\u00e1ssico de <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Fus\u00e3o de conceitos ou divindades provenientes de diferentes tradi\u00e7\u00f5es religiosas.\" tabindex=\"0\">sincretismo<\/span>.<\/p><p><span data-nosnippet>A hist\u00f3ria lingu\u00edstica e religiosa exata \u00e9 complexa: os maniqueus e zoro\u00e1stricos sogdianos nas cidades-o\u00e1sis da \u00c1sia Interior (Turf\u00e3o, Khot\u00e3o, Samarcanda) foram provavelmente os intermedi\u00e1rios. Hans-Joachim Klimkeit reconstruiu detalhadamente estas rotas de transmiss\u00e3o em <em>Die Seidenstra\u00dfe<\/em> (1988).<\/span><\/p><p>Nas tradu\u00e7\u00f5es tibetanas, Khormusta surge como <em>brGya-byin<\/em> ou como <em>dBang-po brGya-byin<\/em>, o que traduz o indiano \u015aakra Dev\u0101n\u0101\u1e43 Indra, \u201cIndra, o de mil nomes\u201d. Cavalga o elefante tric\u00e9falo Airavata, o que o identifica iconograficamente, de forma definitiva, com o Indra budista.<\/p><p>Nas camadas mong\u00f3is pr\u00e9-budistas, tanto quanto \u00e9 poss\u00edvel reconstru\u00ed-las, a sua representa\u00e7\u00e3o era menos fixada; surgia antes como \u201cRei entre os 99 Tengri\u201d na <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"A transmiss\u00e3o de saberes e narrativas atrav\u00e9s das gera\u00e7\u00f5es.\" tabindex=\"0\">tradi\u00e7\u00e3o<\/span> oral do que em tipos iconogr\u00e1ficos fixos. Por via dos textos maniqueus e budistas da \u00c1sia Central, a designa\u00e7\u00e3o chegou ao mundo turco-mongol, onde se foi associar a uma concep\u00e7\u00e3o j\u00e1 existente do senhor supremo do c\u00e9u.<\/p><p>Na literatura budista da Mong\u00f3lia, Khormusta funde-se com Indra, o rei dos deuses do pante\u00e3o indiano, que a\u00ed surge como senhor do c\u00e9u <em>Trayastrimsha<\/em> e protetor da Doutrina.<\/p><p>Assim, de uma <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Um ser venerado como divino dentro de uma religi\u00e3o.\" tabindex=\"0\">divindade<\/span> aut\u00f3noma tornou-se um pr\u00edncipe dos deuses integrado no modelo cosmol\u00f3gico budista, que, embora ocupe um lugar elevado, permanece subordinado ao Buda e aos Bodhisattvas. Esta classifica\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o \u00e9 um efeito secund\u00e1rio, mas foi religioso-politicamente intencional: a difus\u00e3o do budismo tibetano a partir do s\u00e9culo XVI exigiu n\u00e3o o afastamento das antigas divindades celestes, mas a sua subordina\u00e7\u00e3o hier\u00e1rquica.<\/p><p>Do ponto de vista da cr\u00edtica das fontes, importa sublinhar que quase todos os testemunhos escritos sobre Khormusta prov\u00eam de contextos de influ\u00eancia budista, por exemplo, das invoca\u00e7\u00f5es da epopeia de Geser ou de manuscritos rituais. Uma forma pr\u00e9-budista da figura s\u00f3 pode ser deduzida a partir da\u00ed de forma indireta.<\/p><p>Investigadores como Walther Heissig assinalaram que os quarenta e nove ou trinta e tr\u00eas Tengri mencionados na epopeia, \u00e0 frente dos quais se encontra Khormusta, representam uma sistematiza\u00e7\u00e3o secund\u00e1ria, provavelmente surgida apenas atrav\u00e9s do contacto com o esquema indo-budista de numera\u00e7\u00e3o das divindades.<\/p><p>Para a compreens\u00e3o da <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"A transmiss\u00e3o de saberes e narrativas atrav\u00e9s das gera\u00e7\u00f5es.\" tabindex=\"0\">tradi\u00e7\u00e3o<\/span> sibero-tengr\u00edta, isso significa: Khormusta demonstra exemplarmente que o <a href=\"\/pt-br\/xamanismo-siberiano\/\">Tengrismo<\/a> n\u00e3o era um sistema est\u00e1tico, mas um campo perme\u00e1vel que acolhia nomes e conceitos alheios e os combinava com as suas pr\u00f3prias representa\u00e7\u00f5es.
