Appare esclusivamente nel poema tardo-eddico Fj\u00f6lsvinnsm\u00e1l; ogni ulteriore affermazione su di lei \u00e8 interpretazione.<\/p>\n<p>Questo vale anche per la pi\u00f9 nota di queste interpretazioni, il legame con il gigante del fuoco <a href=\"https:\/\/iwell-guard.com\/surtr\/\">Surtr<\/a>: si basa su una strofa emendata dalla critica testuale e in parte \u00e8 congettura. Nella struttura enigmistica del poema, l&#8217;arma \u00e8 necessaria per abbattere il gallo V\u00ed\u00f0\u00f3pnir; per ottenerla, Sinmara richiede un controdono.
