Narodni nazivi kao mravinac, mladena\u010dko bilje i bijeg od vraga upu\u0107uju na njegovu ulogu bilja protiv urokljivih \u010dini i nesre\u0107e.<\/p><p>Su\u0161eni cvjetovi dosta \u010duvali su se u kutijicama, raspore\u0111ivali po ku\u0107i ili upletali u mladena\u010dki nakit kako bi za\u0161titili stanare i mladenku od \u0161tetnih \u010dini.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-iwgs-wacholder-s1 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"iwgs-wacholder-s1\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-iwgs-wacholder-s1h elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"iwgs-wacholder-s1h\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Podrijetlo i predaja<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-iw-wacholder-s1-bw e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"iw-wacholder-s1-bw\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-iwgs-wacholder-s1t elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"iwgs-wacholder-s1t\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Naziv mravinac (Wohlgemut) izvorno se odnosio na mo\u0107 koja se dostu pripisivala, da &#8220;razrije\u0161i svaku brigu i u\u010dini ljude vedrima&#8221;, kako to formuliraju stariji travarski priru\u010dnici. Iz tog ja\u010daju\u0107eg djelovanja razvila se predod\u017eba da je du\u0161a koju dost okrijepi manje podlo\u017ena urokljivim \u010dini.<\/p><p>Kao nadimak bijeg od vraga prenosi se predaja da \u010dak i vrag izbjegava tu biljku; kao mladena\u010dko bilje dost se upletao u mladena\u010dke vjen\u010di\u0107e da bi mladenku na dan vjen\u010danja, koji se u predaji smatrao posebno ugro\u017eenim prijelazom, za\u0161titio od zlih sila. U srednjem vijeku su\u0161eni cvjetovi dosta drani su ispod nosa kako bi se odagnali \u0161tetni utjecaji, obi\u010daj koji pokazuje blisku vezu dosta s <a href=\"https:\/\/iwell-guard.com\/hr\/?page_id=150581\">biljem protiv uroka i zla pogleda<\/a>, kojemu se tako\u0111er pripisuje.<\/p><p>Izreka &#8220;Valerijana, dost i kopar, vje\u0161tica ne mo\u017ee kako \u017eeli&#8221; povezuje tri biljke kojima se zajedno pripisivala osobito pouzdana mo\u0107 protiv vje\u0161ti\u010darenja. Za vjen\u010danje su se gran\u010dice dosta upletale u mladena\u010dki vjen\u010di\u0107 ili u mladena\u010dku haljinu.<\/p><p>Kao i kod ve\u0107ine bilja protiv uroka i zla pogleda, i ovdje vrijedi: dost se nije shva\u0107ao kao samostalno sredstvo, ve\u0107 se primjenjivao u kombinaciji s valerijanom, koprom i drugim za\u0161titnim praksama.
