Za razliku od Lilith, Asmodaja ili Azazela, rije\u010d ne ozna\u010dava pojedina\u010dnu pojavu, ve\u0107 cijelu klasu nevidljivih, \u010desto opasnih bi\u0107a koja stoje izme\u0111u an\u0111ela i ljudi.<\/p><p>U biblijskom hebrejskom potvr\u0111en je samo dvaput (Dtn 32,17; Ps 106,37), ali u rabinskoj knji\u017eevnosti <em>shedim<\/em> postaje standardni izraz za demone op\u0107enito.<\/p><p>Broj izvora je iznimno velik. <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Glavno djelo rabinskog judaizma s tuma\u010denjem religijske predaje.\" tabindex=\"0\">Talmud<\/span> sadr\u017ei brojne pripovijesti i pravne odluke koje pretpostavljaju postojanje shedim; aramejske zaklinjateljske zdjelice ih poimeni\u010dno sputavaju; srednjovjekovni kabalisti ih razvrstavaju u hijerarhije \u201edruge strane\u201c.<\/p><p>Pojam ostaje u uporabi sve do moderne hasidske narodne religioznosti. U Petoj knjizi Mojsijevoj (Devarim) Izraelu se prigovara da je prinosio \u017ertve <em>\u0161edim<\/em>, koji nisu <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Kao bo\u017eansko po\u0161tovano bi\u0107e unutar neke religije.\" tabindex=\"0\">bo\u017eanstvo<\/span>, novim bogovima koje oci nisu poznavali.<\/p><p>U jednom psalmu stoji da je narod sinove i k\u0107eri \u017ertvovao <em>\u0161edim<\/em> te tako prolio nevinu krv. Oba mjesta usko povezuju rije\u010d sa zabranjenim \u017ertvenim kultom, posebno s dje\u010djim \u017ertvama koje se prinose tu\u0111im silama.<\/p><p>Ve\u0107 ova oskudna osnova jasno pokazuje da biblijski nalaz ne govori mnogo o naravi tih bi\u0107a. Tekstovi su polemi\u010dki, njihova je svrha omalova\u017eiti tu\u0111e kultove, a ne razviti demonologiju. <em>\u0160edim<\/em> se ovdje javlja kao skupni naziv za primatelje kulta koji biblijski autori \u017eigosaju kao idolopokloni\u010dki i krvav.<\/p><p>Znanost s velikom vjerojatno\u0161\u0107u povezuje tu rije\u010d s akadskim <em>\u0161edu<\/em>. Ono je u mezopotamskom prostoru ozna\u010davalo za\u0161titnog duha, \u010desto u obliku krilatog \u010dovjeka-bika, koji je \u010duvao vrata pala\u010da i hramova.<\/p><p>Ono \u0161to je u Mezopotamiji bilo dobrohotno za\u0161titni\u010dko bi\u0107e, u hebrejskoj Bibliji je preoblikovano u tu\u0111u, nezakonitu silu kojoj se ne smije \u017ertvovati.<\/p><p>Ovo preoblikovanje dobar je primjer ra\u0161irenog obrasca. Bogovi i duhovi susjednih narod\u00e2 u biblijskom <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Vjerovanje u jednog jedinog boga.\" tabindex=\"0\">monoteizmu<\/span> nisu nijekani, nego obezvrije\u0111eni, oni nisu prava bo\u017eanstva, nego samo <em>\u0161edim<\/em>, kojima se ne smije upu\u0107ivati nikakav zakoniti <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Skup svih vjerskih obreda \u0161tovanja neke bo\u017eanske ili svete pojave.\" tabindex=\"0\">kult<\/span>.<\/p><p>Kasnija \u017eidovska demonologija stoga je imala tek slabo biblijsko temelje na koje se mogla nadovezati te je sliku ovih bi\u0107a morala uglavnom razviti iznova.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cp01ffe67 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"cp01ffe67\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cp4c67ed9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"cp4c67ed9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Razrada \u0161edim u rabinskoj knji\u017eevnosti<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cpeb7801e e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"cpeb7801e\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cp75df800 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"cp75df800\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Tek je rabinska knji\u017eevnost, prije svega babilonski <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Glavno djelo rabinskog judaizma s tuma\u010denjem vjerske predaje.\" tabindex=\"0\">Talmud<\/span> i pripadaju\u0107a egzegetska djela, od oskudne biblijske rije\u010di stvorila razra\u0111enu klasu demona. Ovdje se <em>\u0161edim<\/em> pojavljuju kao brojna, sveprisutna vrsta bi\u0107a.<\/p><p>\u010cesto citiran odlomak u talmudskom traktatu Berahot opisuje da \u0161edim okru\u017euju ljude u ogromnom broju, da svaki \u010dovjek ima tisu\u0107e njih sa svoje lijeve i desne strane, te da gu\u017eva u u\u010dili\u0161tu ili umor u koljenima potje\u010du upravo od njihova djelovanja.<\/p><p>Rabini su \u0161edim smjestili u me\u0111upolo\u017eaj.<\/p><p>Poznat tekst navodi tri osobine po kojima nalikuju an\u0111elima slu\u017ebenicima, imaju krila, lete s jednog kraja svijeta na drugi i znaju \u0161to \u0107e se dogoditi, te tri po kojima nalikuju ljudima, jedu i piju, razmno\u017eavaju se i umiru.<\/p><p>\u0160edim time stoje izme\u0111u <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"U abrahamskim religijama nebesko bi\u0107e koje je Bo\u017eji glasnik.\" tabindex=\"0\">an\u0111ela<\/span> i \u010dovjeka, dovoljno su tjelesni da mogu umrijeti, a dovoljno duhovni da posjeduju skriveno znanje.<\/p><p>O njihovu su podrijetlu kolale razli\u010dite predod\u017ebe. Ra\u0161irena <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Preno\u0161enje znanja i pri\u010da kroz generacije.\" tabindex=\"0\">predaja<\/span> povezuje ih sa sumrakom \u0161estoga dana stvaranja, kada je Bog stvorio njihove du\u0161e, ali zbog nastupaju\u0107eg \u0161abata vi\u0161e nije dovr\u0161io njihova tijela, zbog \u010dega su ostali nedovr\u0161eni, izme\u0111u sfera. Drugi tekstovi pojedine demone dovode u vezu s Adamom.<\/p><p>Rabinska je knji\u017eevnost razvila i imena pojedinih vo\u0111a, donosi naznake o njihovim omiljenim boravi\u0161tima, primjerice ru\u0161evinama, nu\u017enicima, sjeni stabala i osamljenim putovima no\u0107u, te navodi vremena osobite opasnosti. Izgovaranje blagoslova, prou\u010davanje <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Pet Mojsijevih knjiga, temeljni korpus spisa judaizma.\" tabindex=\"0\">Tore<\/span> i posebno recitiranje odre\u0111enih psalama, prije svega tzv. psalma protiv nevolja, smatrali su se u\u010dinkovitom za\u0161titom.<\/p><p>I \u0160ema, \u017eidovska vjeroispovijest koja se izgovara prije spavanja, shva\u0107ala se kao obrana od no\u0107nih strahota. Mezuza na dovratku, koja sadr\u017ei stihove iz <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Pet Mojsijevih knjiga, temeljni korpus spisa judaizma.\" tabindex=\"0\">Tore<\/span>, prema uvrije\u017eenom shva\u0107anju \u0161titi i ku\u0107u od \u0161tetnih sila.<\/p><p>Uz to su postojala i konkretna pravila pona\u0161anja. <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Glavno djelo rabinskog judaizma s tuma\u010denjem vjerske predaje.\" tabindex=\"0\">Talmud<\/span> savjetuje da se izbjegavaju odre\u0111ena opasna mjesta, da se no\u0107u i samostalno ne prolazi kroz ru\u0161evine, da se ne pije vode koja je preko no\u0107i stajala otvorena i da se na opasnim mjestima ne prolazi izme\u0111u dvoje ljudi ili izme\u0111u dva stabla.<\/p><p>Me\u0111u tim propisima bilo je i parno izvo\u0111enje odre\u0111enih radnji te izbjegavanje parnih brojeva u odre\u0111enim okolnostima.<\/p><p>U pu\u010dkoj <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Do\u017eivljena vjerska stav i praksa osobe.\" tabindex=\"0\">pobo\u017enosti<\/span>, posebno u krugu lurijanske <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Struja \u017eidovskog misticizma s glavnim djelima kao Sefer Jezira i Sohar.\" tabindex=\"0\">kabale<\/span> i isto\u010dnoeuropskog \u017eidovstva, tome su se pridru\u017eili i amuleti, ispisani pergamenti s Bo\u017ejim imenima, imenima an\u0111ela i biblijskim stihovima koji su se nosili na tijelu ili postavljali u ku\u0107i.<\/p><p>Njihova uporaba bila je posebno ra\u0161irena pri za\u0161titi rodilja i novoro\u0111en\u010dadi, koji su se smatrali posebno izlo\u017eenima opasnosti. Ona polazi od biblijskog prikaza koji Salomonu pripisuje nadmo\u0107nu mudrost i vlast nad cijelim stvorenim svijetom, te iz toga razvija predod\u017ebu da je kralj vladao i duhovima i demonima.<\/p><p>U babilonskom <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Glavno djelo rabinskog judaizma s tuma\u010denjem vjerske predaje.\" tabindex=\"0\">Talmudu<\/span> nalazi se ve\u0107 razra\u0111ena pri\u010da u kojoj Salomon uz pomo\u0107 pe\u010datnog prstena s uklesanim Bo\u017ejim imenom hvata vo\u0111u demona i prisiljava ga da mu slu\u017ei pri izgradnji Hrama. Tijekom pri\u010de Salomon zbog vlastite oholosti privremeno gubi vlast nad tim <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Duhovno bi\u0107e kojemu se pripisuje \u0161tetno ili dvojako djelovanje.\" tabindex=\"0\">demonom<\/span>.<\/p><p>Ova talmudska pri\u010da postala je jezgro razgranate poslijebiblijske tradicije legendi. U kasnijim tekstovima, nastalim djelomi\u010dno izvan rabinskog judaizma, Salomon postaje veliki gospodar demona koji poznaje njihova imena, njihove nadle\u017enosti i sredstva za njihovo svladavanje.<\/p><p>Na toj predod\u017ebi temelji se dio \u017eidovske magijske literature srednjeg vijeka, kao i literature na koju je ona utjecala.<\/p><p>Znanstveno je ova linija zanimljiva jer pokazuje kako iz kratkih biblijskih naznaka i pojedinih talmudskih pri\u010da izrasta \u010ditav \u017eanr. Pe\u010datni prsten, popis demona s njihovim osobitostima, ideja da poznavanje imena daje vlast nad bi\u0107em, sve je to postalo trajnim gradivnim elementima.<\/p><p>Istodobno je normativni rabinski judaizam prema prakti\u010dnom <span class=\"iwg-fachbegriff\" data-tooltip=\"Jezi\u010dni ritual kojim se nastoji prizvati ili obvezati neku silu.\" tabindex=\"0\">zazivanju<\/span> demona ostao suzdr\u017ean do odbijaju\u0107i. Salomonova tradicija se stoga \u010desto kretala na rubu slu\u017ebene religije ili izvan njega.<\/p><p>Ona ipak potvr\u0111uje da se <em>shedim<\/em> nisu shva\u0107ali samo kao prijetnja, nego i kao sile koje se mogu obuzdati, \u010dije je mo\u0107i dovoljno mudra i pobo\u017ena osoba mogla staviti u svoju slu\u017ebu.
