A tradici\u00f3n identifica \u00e1s veces a Kuthumi co Buda hist\u00f3rico ou con un ser de rango semellante, unha afirmaci\u00f3n cientificamente discutida pero relevante dentro da comprensi\u00f3n esot\u00e9rica.<\/p><h3>Situaci\u00f3n das fontes<\/h3><p>Fontes primarias: as Cartas dos Mahatmas (publicadas en 1923) e os diarios e cartas de Helena Roerich. Comentarios teos\u00f3ficos e literatura secundaria. Tradici\u00f3ns orientais con conceptos de mestre similares, a\u00ednda sen mencionar a Kuthumi polo nome. Obras esot\u00e9ricas modernas popularizaron a Kuthumi como mestre do amor e da integraci\u00f3n da sabedor\u00eda. A verificabilidade hist\u00f3rica dos Mahatmas \u00e9 escasa, pero o seu peso esot\u00e9rico e simb\u00f3lico segue sendo relevante.<\/p><div><h3>Kuthumi na tradici\u00f3n teos\u00f3fica<\/h3><p>Kuthumi (tam\u00e9n <em>Koot Hoomi<\/em> ou <em>Kuthumi Lal Singh<\/em>) \u00e9 unha figura central da doutrina teos\u00f3fica dos Mestres Ascendidos.<\/p><p>Aparece por primeira vez nas chamadas <em>Mahatma Letters<\/em>, unha correspondencia entre Kuthumi (a trav\u00e9s do medium Helena Petrovna Blavatsky) e o te\u00f3sofo brit\u00e1nico-indio Alfred Percy Sinnett, entre 1880 e 1885. Enerxeticamente, Kuthumi resulta c\u00e1lido, intelixente e amoroso \u00e1 vez, coma a luz do sol que tam\u00e9n quenta. En termos psicol\u00f3xicos, Kuthumi encarna o eu superior, que co\u00f1ece e ama ao mesmo tempo.
