Ce nombre est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme innombrable, H\u00e9siode en nomme quarante et une.<\/p>\n<p>Certaines se distinguent : Styx incarne le fleuve des enfers et le serment le plus sacr\u00e9 des dieux, M\u00e9tis est la m\u00e8re d&rsquo;Ath\u00e9na. \u00c0 la diff\u00e9rence des N\u00e9r\u00e9ides, elles ne sont pas rattach\u00e9es \u00e0 une fonction
