Mapuche du sud du Chili et d&rsquo;Argentine, le pendant sombre de la machi gu\u00e9risseuse. Par la magie noire, le kalkutun, il traite avec les esprits mauvais, les wekufe, et invoque des \u00eatres \u00e0 son service, tels que l&rsquo;Anchimayen et le Chonchon, pour causer un pr\u00e9judice cibl\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Au fond, le kalku est un \u00eatre humain vivant, le plus souvent une femme, mais en tant qu&rsquo;interm\u00e9diaire avec le monde des esprits, il appartient pleinement au monde des esprits des morts et des esprits des Mapuche. Il tire ses pouvoirs de r\u00eaves et de visions, et le r\u00f4le se transmet souvent par h\u00e9ritage.
