Il vole \u00e0 Hercule une partie des bovins de G\u00e9ryon et est tu\u00e9 par le h\u00e9ros.<\/p>\n<p>Son histoire est largement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e chez Virgile, Tite-Live et Ovide, et fonde l&rsquo;un des plus anciens lieux de culte de Rome : la v\u00e9n\u00e9ration d&rsquo;Hercule \u00e0 l&rsquo;Ara Maxima, sur le Forum Boarium.
