L&rsquo;attestation centrale provient de l&rsquo;ethnographe Matth\u00e4us Pr\u00e4torius, qui le d\u00e9crit comme une divinit\u00e9 du vent haut plac\u00e9e et puissante sur la presqu&rsquo;\u00eele de Courlande.<\/p>\n<p>D\u00e8s le d\u00e9part, la r\u00e9serve critique sur la source est importante : la tradition ne repose que sur une seule source et est tardive.
