Venu de Thrace, il apporte le froid hivernal et la temp\u00eate ; il est en m\u00eame temps force f\u00e9condante et p\u00e8re de chevaux immortels.<\/p>\n<p>Pour les Ath\u00e9niens, il \u00e9tait consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un gendre, car il avait enlev\u00e9 l&rsquo;Ath\u00e9nienne Orithye et l&rsquo;avait prise pour \u00e9pouse.
