d&rsquo;environ 5822 m\u00e8tres, situ\u00e9 juste au-dessus de la ville d&rsquo;Arequipa et de son embl\u00e8me. En tant qu&rsquo;Apu, il est ambivalent : donneur de fertilit\u00e9 et destructeur potentiel \u00e0 la fois, ce qui explique les offrandes d&rsquo;apaisement qui lui sont faites.<\/p>\n<p>En 1998, Johan Reinhard, Jos\u00e9 Antonio Ch\u00e1vez et Constanza Ceruti ont mis au jour, dans la zone du crat\u00e8re, un sanctuaire de capacocha, avec plusieurs offrandes et environ quarante \u00e0 quarante-sept figurines.
