Il est en m\u00eame temps montagne du royaume des morts et de l&rsquo;au-del\u00e0 : la destination vers laquelle se dirigent les \u00e2mes des d\u00e9funts.<\/p>\n<p>Les chroniqueurs du XVIe et XVIIe si\u00e8cle le mentionnaient comme un oracle et un sanctuaire de haut rang ; au pied sud-ouest se trouve l&rsquo;importante cit\u00e9 inca de Maucallacta, avec oracle et
