La montagne et la divinit\u00e9 doivent \u00eatre strictement distingu\u00e9es : la divinit\u00e9 est plus ancienne et pan-lacustre, le volcan mesure environ 5321 m\u00e8tres.<\/p>\n<p>Le mythe raconte l&rsquo;histoire d&rsquo;un vieux voyageur, barbu et clair de peau, muni d&rsquo;un b\u00e2ton, qui se d\u00e9place du nord vers le sud, accomplit des miracles, pr\u00eache et suscite la col\u00e8re, jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 ce qu&rsquo;on l&rsquo;attache sur un radeau et le jette dans le lac, ce qui ouvre le R\u00edo Desaguadero.
