Les Achachilas habitent les montagnes, les rochers et les lacs, prot\u00e8gent les troupeaux, l&rsquo;eau et la f\u00e9condit\u00e9, et forment le pendant masculin compl\u00e9mentaire de la m\u00e8re-terre Pachamama.<\/p>\n<p>Le terme ne d\u00e9signe pas une montagne unique, mais tout un type : de grands sommets comme l&rsquo;Illimani, l&rsquo;Illampu, le Sajama ou le Huayna Potos\u00ed sont chacun consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme un Achachila propre, avec son propre nom et son propre domaine d&rsquo;attribution.
