Le Kotihaltija est l&rsquo;esprit de la maison, le Maanhaltija l&rsquo;esprit de la cour de ferme.<\/p>\n<p>Le mot est probablement un emprunt germanique au finnois primitif et appartient \u00e0 la croyance populaire animiste baltofinnoise.
