Dans les contes irlandais et m\u00e9ridionaux, c&rsquo;est un g\u00e9ant chevelu ou un ogre.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Action<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En tant qu&rsquo;esprit protecteur, le Gruagach assure lait et troupeau ; il punit la n\u00e9gligence en faisant tarir le lait, en laissant le b\u00e9tail s&rsquo;\u00e9chapper dans les bl\u00e9s ou en trouvant la meilleure vache morte le matin. En tant que magicien et g\u00e9ant des contes h\u00e9ro\u00efques, il est en revanche un adversaire, un enchanteur et un ravisseur.
