Son existence n&rsquo;est pas attest\u00e9e scientifiquement ; toutes les indications sur son apparence et son action proviennent de r\u00e9cits populaires et d&rsquo;anecdotes, non d&rsquo;observations.<\/p>\n<p>Selon ce folklore, il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;un ver rouge sang, ressemblant \u00e0 un intestin, qui vit sous le sable et pourrait tuer \u00e0 distance.
