Lleva el fald\u00f3n de jade que le da nombre y un vestido triangular para los hombros, el quechquemitl, en parte bordeado con una franja de s\u00edmbolos de jade. Entre sus atributos se encuentran orejeras doradas, un medall\u00f3n pectoral dorado y sandalias de espuma.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Efecto<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Chalchiuhtlicue vivifica y nutre: representa el agua dulce de los lagos y los r\u00edos, la agricultura, el parto y la purificaci\u00f3n ritual del reci\u00e9n nacido. Al mismo tiempo puede destruir, mediante inundaciones y ahogamientos. Quien se ahogaba en sus aguas se consideraba elegido por las deidades del agua y llegaba al para\u00edso de
