They have free will like humans, can be believers or unbelievers, and are not invisible as such but can conceal or reveal themselves at will.<\/p><p>The Quran treats the Jinn as moral agents: they can understand commands, reject the truth, or accept it. Solomon&#8217;s power over the Jinn is mentioned several times (Surahs 27, 34, 38); the Jinn became his instrument for crafting golden lampstands and water basins.<\/p><p>Surah 51:56 states that the Jinn, like human beings, were created to serve God.
