On one side stand dismissive positions that see in every subtle-energy description a violation of methodological naturalism.<\/p><p>On the other side stands a research tradition that, under labels such as psi research, anomalistic psychology or consciousness research, tries to examine certain effects perceived as extrasensory under controlled conditions.<\/p><p>Classics are Charles Honorton&#8217;s ganzfeld experiments in the 1970s and 1980s, their replication by Daryl Bem and others, as well as the long-term data collection of the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research.<\/p><p>The statistical findings are not unambiguous: effects above chance expectation do occur, but they are small, hard to reproduce and the subject of methodological criticism.<\/p><p>On iWell Guard we take this research tradition as an indication that there are demonstrable phenomena that cannot be fully explained by a classic physical-materialist worldview.<\/p><p>From this, however, no claim to truth follows for any particular subtle-energy model, but rather the justification for working in a methodically careful way with experiences that belong to this spectrum.<\/p><h3>Common Misunderstandings<\/h3><p>The cosmic information field is not the brain. It is not the totality of collective ideas in the sociological sense.
