There, grain was dried over open fire, work that carried a real risk of fire.<\/p>\n<p>Jagaubis is attested almost solely as a dictionary lemma: the primary records appear with the Prussian-Lithuanian lexicographers of the 18th century, there as another name for the drying-kiln fire spirit Gabjaujis.
