As the son of the sun god Tama-nui-te-r\u0101, he was sent to bring fire to humankind.<\/p>\n<p>With the fire goddess <a href=\"https:\/\/iwell-guard.com\/mahuika\/\">Mahuika<\/a> he fathered the five fire children, the Ng\u0101 M\u0101nawa, whose fire lives in Mahuika&#8217;s fingernails.
