To classify her honestly: a real core as a weather term is attested, whereas the elaborate image of a goddess and daughter of the sea king stems mainly from literature.<\/p>\n<p>Vladimir Dahl records <em>morj\u00e1na<\/em> as a genuine weather term: the sharp, cold wind that blows landward from the sea at the Volga and the Caspian Sea.
