In Thailand, the small spirit house <em>San Phra Phum<\/em> marks the dwelling of the land spirit, while the figure of <em>Nang Kwak<\/em> is regarded as a luck-bringer for businesses.<\/p>\n<p>In Poland and the Czech Republic, folklore knows the <em>Chowaniec<\/em>, the <em>Skrzat<\/em> and the <em>Hospod\u00e1\u0159\u00ed\u010dek<\/em> as house-bound kobold variants, and Slovakia knows the <em>Skriatok<\/em>.
