Mae Haitiaid ifanc yn ymdoddi neu&#8217;n gadael y traddodiad. Mae&#8217;r derbyniad esoterig byd-eang yn rhamantaidd ac anghywir. Erys urddas ysbrydol a sofraniaeth ddiwylliannol yn frwydrau canolog.<\/p><h3>Ymchwil i wyddor y grefydd yn yr 20fed ganrif<\/h3><p>Mae ymdriniaeth academaidd \u00e2 Vodou yn yr 20fed ganrif wedi&#8217;i llunio gan nifer o weithiau arloesol. Cyhoeddodd Alfred M\u00e9traux yn 1959 &#8220;Le Vaudou Ha\u00eftien&#8221;, y disgrifiad ethnograffig systematig cyntaf o&#8217;r traddodiad; erys hyd heddiw yn gyfeiriad methodolegol.<\/p><p>Mae Maya Deren yn ychwanegu persbectif hanes-celf ac anthropolegol gyda &#8220;Divine Horsemen&#8221; (1953); mae ei ffilmiau o ddigwyddiadau seremon\u00efol yn ddogfennol amhrisiadwy.
