Mae&#8217;r traddodiad Norseg yn adnabod y J\u00f6tnar (cewri) fel gwrthwynebwyr yr Aesir, a wynebir yn derfynol yn frwydr Ragnar\u00f6k.<\/p><p>Mae&#8217;r traddodiad Hind\u0175aidd yn adnabod yr Asuras fel gwrthwynebwyr y Devas, gyda gwrthdaro parhaus yn y Puranas.
