Yn ganolog ceir cylchoedd cosmig (y Titanomachia) ac adroddiadau mytholegol. Roedd cwltiau cyfrin fel Dirgeleddau Eleusis a thraddodiadau Orffig yn cynnig athrawiaethau esoterig am y byd tu hwnt ac ymfudiad eneidiau.<\/p><p>Gyda&#8217;r ehangu Helenistig daeth yr interpretatio Romana: cyfun\u00adwyd duwiau Groegaidd \u00e2 duwiau Rhufeinig (Zeus = Iau, Aphrodite = Fenws).
