P\u0159i ritu\u00e1ln\u00edm pou\u017eit\u00ed se po t\u011bchto pol\u00edch pohybovalo ukazov\u00e1tko a jeho pohyb byl vykl\u00e1d\u00e1n.<\/p><p>N\u011bkolik des\u00edtek takov\u00fdch bubn\u016f se dochovalo, mnoh\u00e9 z nich byly v 17. a 18. stolet\u00ed zabaveny \u00fa\u0159ady a mision\u00e1\u0159i a odvezeny do evropsk\u00fdch sb\u00edrek. Ernst Manker je v letech 1930 a\u017e 1950 katalogizoval a pokusil se systematizovat obrazov\u00e9 znaky.<\/p><p>Uk\u00e1zal se p\u0159i tom z\u00e1sadn\u00ed probl\u00e9m: v\u00fdklady jednotliv\u00fdch postav poch\u00e1zej\u00ed t\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 v\u017edy od vn\u011bj\u0161\u00edch zapisovatel\u016f, nikoli od samotn\u00fdch vlastn\u00edk\u016f bubn\u016f, a \u010dasto si vz\u00e1jemn\u011b odporuj\u00ed.<\/p><p>Zda lze konkr\u00e9tn\u00ed postavu na bubnu identifikovat s Raehkou, tedy zpravidla nelze s jistotou rozhodnout.
