Volkert Haas a Daniel Schwemer tuto etymologii posoudili jako pravd\u011bpodobnou.<\/p><p>V kl\u00ednopisn\u00fdch textech se objevuje jako <em>\u0160ar-ru-ma<\/em>, <em>\u0160ar-ru-um-ma<\/em>; v hieroglyfick\u00e9m luvijsk\u00e9m jako &#8218;TUTELARY+ra\/i-ma&#8216; (logogram TUTELARY odkazuje na jeho funkci ochrann\u00e9ho boha). V akkad\u0161tin\u011b nen\u00ed bez dal\u0161\u00edho identifikov\u00e1n; jeho hurritsk\u00fd charakter z\u016fst\u00e1v\u00e1 jasn\u011b rozpoznateln\u00fd.<\/p><p>Druh\u00e1 etymologie spojuje jm\u00e9no s n\u00e1zvem hory &#8218;\u0160arruma&#8216; v Kizzuwatn\u011b; Sarruma by pak byl p\u016fvodn\u011b horsk\u00e9 bo\u017estvo a teprve druhotn\u011b ochrann\u00fd b\u016fh kr\u00e1le.<\/p><p>Ob\u011b etymologie jsou pravd\u011bpodobn\u011b vz\u00e1jemn\u011b slu\u010diteln\u00e9: horsk\u00fd b\u016fh na ho\u0159e \u0160arruma, jeho\u017e jm\u00e9no pak odkazuje na &#8218;kr\u00e1le&#8216;.
