Ve skotsk\u00e9 gael\u0161tin\u011b se tato bytost \u010dasto naz\u00fdv\u00e1 <em>sluagh s\u00eddhe<\/em> (vojsko v\u00edl\u00edch pahork\u016f) nebo <em>sluagh gaoithe<\/em> (vojsko v\u011btru).<\/p><p>To ukazuje na jistou ambivalenci: Sluagh by mohli b\u00fdt tvo\u0159eni jak padl\u00fdmi v\u00edlami, tak neklidn\u00fdmi lidsk\u00fdmi du\u0161emi; prameny to jednozna\u010dn\u011b neobjas\u0148uj\u00ed.<\/p><p>John Gregorson Campbell, skotsk\u00fd folklorista 19. stolet\u00ed, ve sv\u00fdch sb\u00edrk\u00e1ch dokumentoval Sluagh jako no\u010dn\u00ed zjeven\u00ed, p\u0159ed kter\u00fdm se musela zav\u00edrat okna, aby vojsko nevniklo do domu.
