Regionalment tamb\u00e9 es troben noms com nits interiors, nits inferiors o nits de les campanes.<\/p><p>La creen\u00e7a popular atribu\u00efa a aquest per\u00edode un estat d&#8217;excepci\u00f3. L&#8217;ordre de l&#8217;any havia acabat, el nou encara no havia comen\u00e7at, i en aquest espai intermedi, segons la tradici\u00f3, hi circulaven esperits errants i figures llegend\u00e0ries. D&#8217;aqu\u00ed s&#8217;explica la densitat de costums de protecci\u00f3 documentats per a aquestes nits.<\/p><p>\u00c9s important entendre que les Rauhn\u00e4chte no s\u00f3n ni un \u00e9sser ni un costum a\u00efllat, sin\u00f3 un per\u00edode de temps al qual s&#8217;han associat molts costums.
