Ogun \u00e9s un dels orix\u00e0 iorubes m\u00e9s antics i est\u00e0 vinculat a l&#8217;entrada de la humanitat en la cultura metal\u00b7l\u00fargica.<\/p><p>En els mites ioruba, Ogun obre amb el seu matxet un cam\u00ed a trav\u00e9s de la selva que permet als altres orix\u00e0 baixar a la terra. Aix\u00ed esdev\u00e9 el pioner, l&#8217;obridor de camins, el portador de la civilitzaci\u00f3 t\u00e8cnica.<\/p>\n\n<p>Karen McCarthy Brown ha mostrat en els seus treballs sobre la hist\u00f2ria religiosa afroocidental-caribenya que la forma ioruba va arribar al Carib amb les massives deportacions d&#8217;esclaus procedents de terres ioruba durant els segles XVIII i XIX.<\/p><p>Mentre que al Brasil (Candombl\u00e9) i a Cuba (Santer\u00eda) la forma ioruba d&#8217;Ogun es va conservar relativament pura, a Hait\u00ed ha adoptat una forma pr\u00f2pia a trav\u00e9s del contacte amb altres tradicions africanes i criolles.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1ad0950 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"1ad0950\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ce82006 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"ce82006\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Manifestacions d'Ogou<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4cabc66 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4cabc66\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Dins la tradici\u00f3 haitiana, Ogou es venera en nombroses manifestacions, que apareixen com a Loa propis amb nom propi. Les principals s\u00f3n Ogou Feray (el Loa del ferro, manifestaci\u00f3 guerrera principal), Ogou Balindjo (el guaridor, amb funci\u00f3 m\u00e8dica), Ogou Badagri (el pol\u00edtic i orador) i Ogou Achade (vinculat a la cort i a la dignitat reial).<\/p><p>Aquestes manifestacions difereixen en les seves prefer\u00e8ncies rituals, en els seus cants i en les qualitats que transmeten als creients \u00abcavalls\u00bb que posseeixen.<\/p>\n\n<p>Alfred M\u00e9traux va analitzar a \u00abLe vaudou ha\u00eftien\u00bb la complexitat d&#8217;aquestes manifestacions i va mostrar que la fam\u00edlia Ogou forma en aquesta tradici\u00f3 una mena de \u00absistema de germanor\u00bb guerrer, en el qual cada manifestaci\u00f3 cobreix una funci\u00f3 social espec\u00edfica. Als temples d&#8217;aquesta tradici\u00f3 es col\u00b7loca una espasa de ferro o un matxet clavat en un munt de terra, punt on es fan les invocacions.<\/p><p>Tamb\u00e9 s\u00f3n els seus s\u00edmbols les ferradures, les barres de ferro i les cadenes de ferro. El color roig el caracteritza, especialment el roig amb tocs negres o verds. Els seguidors d&#8217;Ogou porten mocadors vermells al cap o faixes vermelles a la cintura.<\/p>\n\n<p>La seva beguda preferida \u00e9s el rom, sovint mesclat amb p\u00f3lvora.
